Embrapa, University of Brasilia and Krilltech sign intellectual property agreement

Embrapa, the University of Brasilia (UnB) and the startup Krilltech celebrated on Wednesday, 27, an agreement for intellectual property and division of ownership of arbolin. The active ingredient developed since 2018 by the research institutions has already given rise to nanoproducts of biostimulant and biofertilizer action that improve the performance of crops without generating toxic residues. Under the agreement, the startup will have the right to commercialize the products and the royalties will be divided between the patent holders.
