Krilltech, a company specialized in nanotechnology, is already valued at more than R$ 1 billion. Initiative bets on arboline as biofertilizer of the future.
A technology inspired by nature, on an infinitesimally small scale, but with the potential to revolutionize the Brazilian and even the global agribusiness. This is arboline, a nanotechnological biofertilizer that motivated the creation of Krilltech - a technology company in the agribusiness (AgTech) business -, which originated as a startup at the University of Brasilia, through a partnership with the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa).
Developed at the Institute of Chemistry (IQ) at UnB by the company's research partners, the product is innovative in all its aspects, because it is pure, non-toxic, non-bioaccumulable, and luminescent, being able to enrich food with micro and macro nutrients and increase the yields of various crops.
