The winner of the KPMG Private Enterprise Global Tech Innovator competition, a worldwide competition that "seeks to identify the leading technology innovators and future tech titans - first nationally and then globally, with Portugal at the center of the competition," has been announced.
And the task was not an easy one to reduce from 700 applications, from 11 countries, to 17 finalists. The final pitch took place yesterday evening, at Estufa Fria, in Lisbon, under the eyes of the international jury. From the 17 proposals presented, 8 presented artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning solutions. But it was an agrotech that won the admiration and conquered the first prize.
